4" Chunk Swimbait

A highly versatile, widely used swim bait, popular with both fresh and saltwater anglers. The boot-shaped tail creates vibrations to alert fish as well as a side-to-side body wobble giving it a highly realistic presentation.

*Rig on a weighted jig head or without, weedless or a trailer on a chatterbait. Fish anywhere in the water column and in all types of water: lakes, ponds, beaches, grass flats, rocky areas.

*Works best when bait is present. A great search bait for covering a lot of water.

*Fish with a simple, steady retrieve, jig or use a lift-and-drop style 

*Match the lure size to the baitfish in the water for more strike opportunities. Be aware that the size of the lure will also affect the size of the fish being targeted. Large fish chase large bait.

*Match the jig head to the size of the lure to keep it as natural as possible. We recommend jigs with keepers to hold the lure in place. 

Chunk vs. Slick Body

Chunk bodies are rounder and thicker, providing a tighter body wobble and more restrained vibration, offering a more subtle presentation. 

Slick/Slim bodies produce less resistance allowing the tail to kick and shimmy freely creating a more exaggerated, erratic action.
